a graphic novel about the thirty years’s war. it tells the story of philipp hainhofer, a nobleman living in the city of augsburg. he tries to save his hometown by negotiating a capitulation with the king of sweden gustavus adolphus who’s army stands before the gates of augsburg.
the book was made in cooperation with the maximilianmuseum augsburg. the book accompanied an exhibition about elias holl.
